What i can say....This is the game i really want. I always wanted power struggles to this game and finally they added it. Free teleport, free flight, animated transformations(even it is short, but it beats that stupid flash). Now blockking is different, you dont do it just by holding X. And we can finally crouch. Maybe in budokai 4 we can jump :p

Features:

A new a 'Z Point' growth system that allows characters to increase in power and defense.

When faced with big powerful ki attacks, players can teleport out of harms way unscaved and also use it for longer combos or to suprise enemies.

New pursuit attacks like Teleportation will consume your ki so that you do not use to many of them.

Multiple energy blasts can now be fired at once instead of one at a time as in previous games, and prolonged blocking can cause your character to become fatigued, leaving him vulnerable to attacks instead of being able to block thoughout the fight adding to the 'Dragonball Z' realism.

Old characters from Budokai 1 & 2, accompanied by brand new Movie and Series characters as well as Fusions.

Detail on auras increased and improved to enhance the visual experience of raging power.

Cel shading graphics return with enhanced features, much more impressive than Budokai 2.

New and improved transformations including the super saiyan 4 form seen in 'Dragon Ball Grand Tour (DBGT)'.

Now players are no longer bound to the ground, with free-flight being available for use.

The new 'Dragon Road' mode allows players to take characters on a long and wild adventure.

Also players can freely fly around the world as any character and experience the scenarios they found in the original story, and as everything progresses in the gameplay, there won't be any cut-scenes.

I think thats all i have to say :p

Erm every character can "Tranform" into beserker mode and do a special combo specifcally for that character. it involves button clicking as Zanku Fist did in budokai 2 but u press about 3-5 buttons *Edit* beserker mode is when they have a white outline and gl
ow red.

I just watched a bunch of the Budokai3 gameplay videos at Gamespot--this has completely destroyed my interest for the game.

It's almost exactly the same as Budokai and Budokai2. Doesn't look like they've improved the main part of the game--melee fighting, at all. They made transforming a slower, mini-cutscene process, and seems they gave EVERYBODY a 'kaioken-like' transformation in which they glow uninterestingly red. They gave the ability to throw multiple kiblasts (Oh, woohoo!) and teleport behind someone, but other then that--it's just new combo sequences. Maybe the 'Dragon Universe' mode will be more interesting, but seeing the gameplay in action in 15 different movies has made me decide to merely rent the game, and not buy it.

Check them out for yourselves.

But the new movie characters is a plus atleast, right?o_o
Gogeta/Broly/Bardok/King Vegeta was supposed to be in it wasnt he?/Adult Gotenks is supposed to be in it also. Just a few that i found out about. I forget the rest of the new, New, characters. Movie/Characters that were never in any of the 2 first games.

Those movies make the game look a little slow when they tried to do the combo thing out of nowhere. However from the fights it seems as if the people who were playing it werent so good, as the teleport, 'free' flight, and combo moves give the game the potential to be a fast paced game.

It made me doubt it a little more, but I still have faith.

4 weeks 1 day( i dont believe gamespots release date, i believe atari`s. But if i dont count saturday or sunday then it comes faster :p. Im happy that you cant block for eternity. First i thought "why those guys always get hit by just a simple punches", then i remembered that you can raise your defence to each character. This will make game more interesting. And now you have much more to play, if you want games stable by getting exp to everyone you, or your friends use(do we have a runescape here?).

I hope you use these things in dueling and world tournament not just in dragon universe.

I don't know if this is any help but on the FUNimation site they have a video called Behind The Screams (see what they did there?) and it's clips of various voice actors doing the voices for Budokai 3. Dragonfist sounds cool, and from what I can tell, Hercule and Oolong will be in Dragonworld (Hercule seems to know about the dragonballs...) Oh yeah, and Chaotzu's in it. And Uub.

I'm glad that they haven't changed much graphically, they spent more time on the single player and it looks like they actually listened to the fans to find out what they wanted in, which happens to be everything. I'm looking forward to playing past what Budokai 1 covered, Buu, Movies, heck, i'm even looking forward to playing the GT sagas. I think you have to 'learn' attacks now, so you can have all of the capsule slots for support caps (the green ones) AND keep all the attacks and trans' you learned in Dragonworld, including Oozaru. YAY!

I'll be buying this on the day for sure :D

[EDIT:
damn how come no gogeta movies! i wanna c gogeta in action
He gets half a second on the video, as SSJ4. He's blocking but you can tell it's him. They copied it from GT perfectly. I really hope he doesn't start off as SSJ2 like in movie 12, it would be nice to see his hairstyle in normal form.
