Bot Problem

ok this has never happened to me before so i dont know whats going on. i just installed bot 3.1 and when i spawn a bot. it goes into spectating mode and i cant fight them... whats going on?

Do you have a message of the day(motd)(check if a motd.txt file exists in your esf dir)
If not try this:

bot_command "TheBotNameHere" "jointeam" "TeamNr"

for example if you added a bot called Bot and want him to join team good:

bot_command "Bot" "jointeam" "1"

if the bot has a team or you're playing free fight type this:

bot_command "TheBotNameHere" "classname"

and replace classname with something like goku or cell etc.

yeah actually i do have a motd .... what do i do?

Remove/rename it. The current bots dunno what todo when a motd appears...

well what can i rename it? and since you actually make the bots, do you think its a possiblity that sometime in the future you could fix it so they do actually enter the server with a motd? (just a thought)

Its already 'fixed' for the new version, since esf 1.2 is based on the latest SDK the bots can recognize it now . Anyway you need to rename your motd.txt...to something like motdbu.txt.
