Block Beam

Dont know if this is a good idea or not:

if you are in a block struggle, and you have enough ki left, you should be able to shoot a beam while blocking so that you can push it away faster

Nah its theoreticaly impossible.Whilst blocking your using your arms to cover your self. To fire your beam you would need to expose yourself thus ending in a direct hit from the beam.
Good idea though, shame about the physics behind it, maybe if you think about it more you can make it work.

Well.... maybe it they had different block animations for different attacks being shot at you like... for the ki blast you have the normal block animation and for a beam you can catch it before you it hits you....

Ex: your hands are start out in front of you and you have the beam in a lock, then sense your hands are in front you should be able, if you had extra ki to push the beam faster by shooting beam

or maybe you could have another kind of block where you have both hands out instead of covering your face

It would be kinda cool to be able to initiate a PS from a BS. It should work like this: You block an opponents beam and initiate a BS. The meter pops up, and you see 2 lines, the normal middle line and another line a little bit under it. This new line is the counter-ps line. If you have enough ki when the struggle indicator reaches that line, you can start charging a beam. However, it would consume normal amounts of ki to charge the beam ON TOP OF the ki you are pumping to block the other guys beam. This would ensure that in order to do this you would need to be at full ki or be WAY stronger than the other guy.

When the indicator reaches the middle, then you have won the block struggle and can fire the beam, which initiates another PS that you will probably win, seeing as how your enemy used all his ki up during the BS. But, maybe he LET you win, betting that you would use up all your ki winning the BS and charging the beam, and has more ki leftover than you think...sneaky sneaky. pee dubya enn

I like this idea.. and do they really have to move their hands to shoot a beam? can't the focus and make the beam appear? I thought the whole moving the arms into position was just to channel the ki into a more concentrated beam, but maybe it could be more like a ki "blast" and it takes all of your ki, and if you're strong enough (PL) it initiates a PS, but you aren't attached to the beam, and it goes crazy like the kame torps do....

well maybe if you hit something like the block button and then hit forward you would stick out your hands and when you were blocking it you could hit the primary button to charge up a blast,instead of pressing the secondary button which makes you throw the blast back at the person

yea that would be kool if they started blocking with hands out then u hold a beam and if its strong enof it gets deflected
