This is one of the featurs of beta 1.1 .
i dont know what that means and how to do it , please explain

Well in 1.0 when you where hit by melee you would still be firing the beam, now in 1.1 the beam goes away when you are hit. Don't know what they mean with controlling a beam.

ok, basically it means when your shooting a beam and someone melees you, instead of the beam being attatched to your hand, you let go of it, but you can still control it (i think you can still control it, if not then it carrys on in the direction you were facing)
