Best Openning Movie

Ok I don't recall ever seeing a thread on this so here it is.

What do oyu guys think is the best opening movie for a video game?

I have to say the best openning video for a game is the one for fallout 2. This video is pure genius. The style it is done in, the music and the comedy in it just make me want to watch it over and over. I truly have to say that it is the only openning movie that I will play more then the actual game (even though fallout 2 is just amazing)

I liked the opening to Final Fantasy 8, It is so fun watching Seifer and Squall duke it out.

I agree with Magus completely on that one. All of the FF8 movies pwned, but specifically the Opening and Ending pwned on the highest of levels.

I usually skip the intro, so, errrr, baulders gate 2 shadow of amm, bout the god of murder and junk.

yeah the only good thing about FF8 was their cinamatics the intro definately ranks up there.

the best though would have to be ummm between chrono cross and omega boost.

im basing this on games ove seen so there ya go

You guys remember the intro to Syndicate Wars 2? Woo! Gangsta music, guys in trench coats, big machine guns... I dont remember it all too well, but the best way to describe it is "DIE DIE DIE OMFG EVERYONE DIE". It was like that.

Gene Wars came out the same time, you guys probably never played it, but that also had an awesome intro. You see a frog, hopping along some lilly pads, and suddenly this carniverous plant hiding in some shrubs suddenly lashes out and swallows the frog whole. You follow it down the thing's throat, there's some flashy DNA sequences, some shots of labs.. and suddenly ur back at the frog again, but this time when the plant attacks the frog cuts it down with huge crab claws such a wierd goddamn game..

Budokai on the PS2 has a fantastic intro, infact most of it's cut-scenes kick ass.
