THE BEST WW2 shooter since MOHAA....mainly because it is exactly the same in so many ways.....but so much better.


The Highest Difficulty settings of Veteran are UNBELIABAVLY hard.....But that make's it great.

It's one of the reasons I haven't been around much.

Theres so much to it! Unfortunately theres no Beach Charge on Ohmaha Beach....You play paratroopers as part of the airborne.....but there is something equal if not worse in the Russian Campaign! You start the Russian Campaign as a LOWLY CONSCRIPT! You have to fight your way into Stalingrad with nothing more than a clip of rifle ammo. You don't get any weapons until the next mission, where you charge Red Square. It's quite a bit like the Movie "Enemy at the Gates" down to the boat ride across the Volga...


The Brit and Yank campaigns are cool.
The Brits gotta sabotage a dam and then escape and later go under cover and sabotage a ship, while the americans gotta lay the groundwork for the troops comin from the beachs of normandy. And none of it is easy.

And if you're wondering, I haven't given and information that isn't already on the box.

well I have CoD for 4 days or so
but I'm lasy only got the scene where you need to shoot ppl in a car

nothing special imo
does run good on low end machines

The beach landing in Stalingrad is outstanding, by outstanding I mean godlike, and by godlike I mean I just creamed myself.

This game is the 1st to make me think "Holy crap people REALLY did this" then feel sorry for them, I felt sorry for them before, but MOHAA never made me think about them, as it was too "solo", with 100hp 200armor and 1000s of guns etc, call of duty is much more realistic, and you DO need to have team mates (on MOHAA they where dumb ass's who just died..) as you are no better then them, same hp (if you play on the harder modes) and same weapons.

Back to the beach level, I play it on a radeon 9600, so I cant really tell for people on lower end cards, but seeing 1000s of people around you, perfect gfx, planes flying overhead, realistic water, the rush of you being pushed around with everyone else, then being the lucky ones too get ammo only, they had a lack of guns, I mean if that does not make you cream yourself, shame on you.

Thats the one thing that tops this game over anything else I have played, the fact you NEED to hide, you NEED to take cover, you NEED your team mates, on MOHAA it was way too "Ok, we will run in and die, then you take over, kill everyone with just you alone, plant the bombs, jump into the plane, rip your shirt off, then act all manly"

edit, eh.. Arthos you said it was "abit like this film" Im not flameing or anything, but its a true story... and it happaned, includeing getting shot if you turned around. Sorry if you allready knew.

I know it was a true story......I should have said that.....But then again....I am an ******* and the Film was BASED on a true story.....and what I meant about that was the Cinematic feel.......Forget I ever said that...and besides......that film and the flight sim IL-2 Sturmovik has made me OBSSESSED with the Eastern Front so playin this campaign was like a dream for me...Now If you'll excuse me.....I'll be off to continue retaking Stalingrad.


EDIT: Besides.....I know just how hard it is. I'm playing on VETERAN. Pegasus Bridge Day was nearly impossible for me at first, but I got through.....just like the airfield....just like the Tirpitz, just like the earlier American missions, and just like Stalingrad Beach on the Banks of the Volga. Time to go Vasili Zaitsev on some germans rip ass.

EDIT2: Hey, Ya gotta admit that the Omaha Beach landing was pretty Amazing for it's time in MOHAA thoug.

Ahh.. Im going to take some screenies and upload them abit later of that mission..

edit: Afew screens.. I could of got better ones by putting godmode and noclip on... but Im too lazy to set up the console

Fun game, and it is made by the makes of MOHAA by the way. Definatly a great game, I really like the combat and gameplay, but you know it wont beat Battlefield in terms of modding and people that play it.

2015 did not make CoD. Infinity Ward Did.....but 2015 was fragmented......and thus created Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward is made up of the people who made MOHAA.
