when and how do i get my own avatar under my name? plz...

If you look under your user cp options at the top of the page. You will find an avatar option.

They have a few avatars to choose from because you need 150 posts to have your own custom avatar. If you need more help feel free to PM me.

They're are maxed at like 12kb, I think that's very low. :no:

that´s enough(but i think it´s 10kb and 100x100)
not everyone needs a animated avatar
and if i´m not totally wrong they reduce the posts needed to 50

I wasn't sure about that either. It's either 50 or 150. But it was 150 for when I got my custom avatar.

Well I got my pic (not animed) that's 30kb and reduced it to 17, so still won't work ;/

100x100 and 17kb? ;/
you should use jpg and reduce the quality to 80 or 85%

Yeah well tried that, even smaller than 100x100, but just can't get it to be that small.. don't know why. Probably because 10bk is sooo small

That happened to me.You need to get a whole new avatar.I lowered min to the smallest.And it still didnt work.You cant customize it

My old avatar was 7 kb and looked good when I find it ill show it to you.

*edit* See it looks good and is really low size. Its not that hard to lower an images size.

Hm.... I like it maybe ill use it again....

That didnt really help did it? If you want PM me the image and ill make it 100x100 and less than 10kb.

The one you're using now is even 5kb, don't know why I can't get them that low, maybe the pictures themself are just to detailed or something. But really .. 10kb isn't much.

gif's are smaller do things like transparancies


where as jpgs are mainly for photographs and give a better picture at the high sizes
