I can't get my avatar to work, its hosted and when I go to submit the url nothing happens.

It seems like it is if you look at the properties,(dimensions are good) doesn't say the exact size though. Maybe it's just a corrupt pic, or the size is too big.

try to put on a really bad signature that you know WILL work. if that works then that means the avatar you actually want to put on is too big in size or dimension

I dunno what extension you have right now, but make it a .gif that might work

I've heard several complaints about the avatar uploader not working within the last two days. It may be just because of that and we have to wait for it to be fixed...

I can't see the picture ... look if your link is right
download the pic you want, be sure that it's smaller than 100x100 (max is 99x99 if I'm correct, because I tried it with 100x100) ... then go into your CP and upload it from your HDD
