Avatar....

hm , i went to usercp and i went to avatar , i upload an avatar and it isnt working , no matter what avatar i use , it doesnt work , can someone tell me if its my avatar or something wrong with the forum or what..

its a preety recent prob and I think the esf team is aware of it ... try hosting ur pics or something ... or ask some1 that can :]

i have the same problem, my sig is hosted, it is a jpeg, and it is within the size limits so i don't see the issue here. the forums were just updated right? they must have forgot something.....

i was wondering, do you host your avatar with angelfire?

just make it a gif, and look at my avatar as the size..

Or go to save-for-web when you save it in photoshop

i can host avatars if u guys need it that bad lol just e-mail me with the avatar attached and ill upload it and reply back when its uploaded

There really is no need to host avatars, though.

When you add an avatar to your profile, it is uploaded to the server here. Watch, right click and go to properties. See, they all are on the same server.

I'm betting it is the filesize of your avatar, or the dimensions.

Also, I believe a few people have been having problems with the avatar uploading. That may be why it isn't working.
