Avatar Problem

well i try to insert a new avatar and when i do that i get to see this:

The file that you have tried to attach is too big. The maximum size is 10240 bytes.

then after that i make my avatar 9KB less then whats standing here now i try this again but it says again:

so how can i insert a new avatar if i keep getting this?

The maximum size is 100 x 100 pixels.
If its bigger than that it wont work.

100X90 seems smaller to me, and its the KB's not the size

Whenever you get an error for SIZE, concentrate on SIZE only, not the "dimensions".

You can easily decrease file size of an avatar by increasing JPEG compression (decreasing quality by a tid-bit).

Anyway, seems that you have solved the problem as your avatar is working fine: Closed.
