Application Error

ok, when i try to create a game of esf on one of my comps, it comes up with an error reading:

hl.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77ff745cc" referenced memory at "0x73006200". The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Can anyone help me on how to fiz this? thanx in advance...

now when i join games it comes up with another error saying:

hl.exe - Application Error

Intel Celeron Processor
367mhz
384 MB RAM
Windows XP Professional 2002 Version

I get the same error, on a much faster machine. When I solve it I'll pass it on.

I had a bad RAM module that was causing the error. Try moving your modules around, and make sure all your drivers and api's are current.

well, i havent done that yet, but for some reason when i changed the resolution it started to work. ill do that anyway just to see whether the game plays smoother
