How do i animate things in my signatures like lines moving across the the sig and things lighting up?

Plently of animation programs out there. I guess you could start with imageready, which shouldve came with your copy of photoshop.

Use ImageReady..
It follows photoshop...
Go to www.good-tutorials.com and then under animation..
There U will find some tuts to learn to animate gifs...

Also macromedia flash is a good program. Check some tut's at www.flashkit.com and www.kirupa.com

flash is the best i used 2 animate everything back in my day lol... but if its for a sig or something use ImageReady, animating isnt hard its just requires patience..

My recommended one is JASC Animation Shop
just look for it in google, it wont take more then 5 minutes I promise you
and its simpler then Image Ready (which I use too btw)

Image Ready is perfect for optimiazing gifs, (low mem) and still make them look good
