Awesome update. I dislike that bold outline though. The one around Buu was the superb one.

It's the same thing. The outline is a cvar, guys. You can turn it on or off.

Client VARiable oposed to a svar which is a Server VARiable.

Basically options for the client. They usually have cl_ in front of them when using them as console commands.

and coding wise both server and client cvars are called cvars( even by valve )

I like it all. The only thing that bothers me is Cell being Cel shaded.

Its not cel-shaded. Its using black outlines with a high volume.
Cel shading is simple lighting.
Sobel filter is a rendering method that detects the edges, often you use it in Photoshop.
