Android 19

I think Android 19 would be a perfect fighter for this game. He wouldn't have any acended levels whatsoever, but he would start out with a speed level of about 200, and the ability to absorb all energy attacks with the press of a button. It you don't press it then you will be hit, but if you do you will absorb it into your life/ki. That would make up for not having any acended levels, and would make for an interesting and different fighter. He would still be hit by lasers and discs, which he would be unable to absorb. WHat do you think?

It's in Android 19's nature to absorb all the time, not Android 18. in dbz, 19 kept on having to do it in order to recharge his batteries, and it gave him enormous power boosts when he did it. I don't think it would take too much work to make it happen. Basically all they need to do is whenever an energy attack hits 19 it adds ki (and/or life) instead of decreasing life, as long as the player is pressing tha absorb button. So in the end all the programmers would have to do is make the beams add ki instead of take life, and add a button that makes 19 hold up his hand as if he was ready to absorb it. Not too hard I think

Oh, I figured since I saw some Brolli skins, who is from a dbz movie, that he would be in. Too bad he won't since I just found out from you that they wont be including movie characters in the game. I would have enjoyed kicking ass with him. I just wonder why they made a skin of him when they say they wont include any movie characters to the game, that is all.

personally i think they could include each android as a transformation, start with 19, then you become 18, then 17, and last 16, seems like the perfect way to make everyone happy then, plus their moves are very similar, and the system they would transform with would be like non decendable, you would just get a nice fat power up wen your power level increases..... it would suit the androids perfectly imo.... i also think this idea should have been done for the ginu force... start with something crappy like guldo and get better and better till you become ginyu.... just a thought

Again, if you had read, you would know. GG and Kama are working on a small project to make a Brolly model and skin, and Optional and CS are making maps for it. It replaces Vegeta. It's not an actual addon to esf. It's either have Vegeta or Brolly.

Ravenblade isn't Kama. GG and Kama made and skinned Broly, no one else. The Broly model is simply a replacement.

I actually like David's idea of how androids should "trans". Would require a lot of models and animations though.

heh I just posted a drawover ^_^;. From what you said about android 19# he would totally dominate gameplay in the early rounds, and most likely in the later rounds too. The fact you could only ever hit him with advanced melee isnt practical, or fair.

As for Dave's transformation idea, in theory it would be quite cool. However given the amount of work involved it would never happen. Though I'd definatly be up for adding androids into ESF, as a team member or community member...

Ok, I'll just repeat what I said before. You can hit him with melee, lasers, discs, and candy beam, because he wouldn't be able to absorb those. And he only absorbs everything else if that player is pressing the button. And he can be hit with anything while he is taking the time to absorb. And he wouldn't have any acended levels, the only way to increase his power level is to fight or go turbo.

Fine, I will just repeat what I said =P!, A half decent player could dominate a match with a character like that with ease. You can only hit him with buu, krillin or freeza (beams related)... so if you Vegeta (and have all beam related attacks), your only option would be advanced melee/melee. Not to mention having the actual absorbtion add to your KI/HP, this all culminates to make one very biased character.
