Android 17 and gt

ok, in dbz, kid buu saga, Android 17 is a good guy, cause he was wished back, and all of the bad guys where not right? So why in GT he becomes bad again, is it cause he is being controlled. I ahve heard from some peeps that im suppose to take GT as a movie where its not in the DB, DBZ story line. I notice a lot of other things messed up in GT, but I like 17, and did not like his end.

actually Android 17 gets absorbed by alternate 17, who was built by Dr. Gero in hell, and forms Super 17. The evil one u see most common in GT pictures

yes i know, but he was willingly fused with the one from hell. Was earth 17 under some kind of control?

Android 17 doesn't care about anyone but his Sister.
Why do you think he went all out at Trunks when Future Trunks
killed 18 in the future. Gokou always gets lucky though, everyone
knows if 18 hadn't distracted Super 17 gokou would've died right
there. For the fact Super 17 could absorb energy and never run
out of it.
