It should be good for laughs, and I think the snake was actually cg'd better this time.

We know the action will be there... but will the script?

Everytime I see the commercial, that part where they show the above view of the water trips me out, even though I remember how it looks I can't get over how crazy that is. Anyways, since there are apparently more this time it'll be good. But you know they're'll be some flaws, like how it supposedly goes 150ft/s, if it can go that fast than no one will be able to escape it but you know a few of them will somehow. :/

The first one was absolutly terrible it's a conundrum as to how it made 10 dollars in the box office. Not going to give the second one my time. It's just too unrealistic.

Well, acutally, this time its a bout a flower they are trying to get in the amazon. it is suposed to prolong life, so when they get there they get attacked of cousre, but later find out the orchids (the flower) has been used by the snake, and andacondas dont stop growing till they die, so this one cant, so it keeps growing.

Unrealistic u say? Biggest snake ever caught was 49 feet like and 992 pounds, its not unrealistic in anyway shape or form, they just want to have fun with snakes rather then giant size bugs.

But the snake caught was a bymese python ill see if i can dig up the new article and a pic of the middle section of the snake.

The speed isn't really unreal either, with its size im sure it prolly would be able to travel that fast.

Slithering monster found

This 15-meter (49.21 feet) long, 447-kilogram (985 pound) reticulated python was captured in Jambi province in Sumatera island. (AP Photo)
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - Indonesian villagers claim to have captured a python that is almost 49.21 feet long and weighs nearly 992.07 pounds, a local official said Monday.

If confirmed, it would be the largest snake ever kept in captivity.

Hundreds of people have flocked to see the snake at a primitive zoo in Curugsewu village on the country's main island of Java, Republika daily reported. It splashed two large pictures of the reptile across its back page.

Local government official Rachmat said the reticulated python measured 14.85 meters (49 feet) and weighed in at 447 kilograms (985 pounds).

The Guinness Book of World Records lists the longest ever captured snake to be 9.75 meters (32 feet). The heaviest - a Burmese Python kept in Gurnee, Illinois - weighs 182.76 kilograms (403 pounds), the book said on its Web site.

Rebublika said the snake, which was caught last year but only recently put on public display, eats three or four dogs a month.

Reticulated pythons are the world's longest snakes. They are capable of eating animals as large as sheep, and have been known to attack and consume humans.

The species is native to the swamps and jungles of Southeast Asia.

That's why you shoot the ****ing thing in the head. I don't give a **** how big they get. People had GUNS in the first movie, they were too stupid to shoot it. A well placed shot will make almost any snake run away, if not die. It's just not realistic, and you can't argue otherwise. Sure, snakes can get big, but they don't activly look for humans to eat. That's pathetic.

If you paid attention it wasn't looking for humans to eat, it was in defensiveness of the snake tribe and they broke the barrier it was the guardian. Anyways, a well placed shot sure but not with that gun, a snake that size is bound to have some nice thick scales.

Besides snakes are fast, and in the face of fear ur a guarentee to freeze, and say otherwise and u are the one being unrealistic.

That and the fact that something that big doesn't move at the speed that they are trying to portray in the movie. Anacondas as large as the one in the movie are cumbersome moving animals on land because of their weight but in the water they are much more mobile and agile.

Also, am I the only one that thinks that photo looks really fake.

Lol i don't see why you would think that, Crocodiles etc, are very big and move very fast on land, but faster in the water. Snakes are naturally fast, a bigger one gets more umphf cause it has much bigger muscles and stronger.

Their slither is like a whip snap, so snap a whip fast, u have the movement of a snake, so disregarding trees, id say a snake could easily catch a human, negating the unreal speeds they say cause thats the only thing i don't believe, the movie is very realistic.

The pic is not fake, go visit the snake ur self say its animatronic maybe the chinese will give ya a hands on view ;D .

It looks like a waste of time and money. I don't need to pay $7-$8 to watch a giant CG snake kill people for an hour and a half. If there's no plot, there's no point.

Unless it's porn...those people are naked :p

Snakes would openly hunt a human as food, if it knew it could consume it, i have a site that is a little disturbing and if u have a weakstomach don't look at it, kids under the age of 11 shouldn't view regardless, whether its fake or not it would be brillantly doctored.

Snakes eat anything that they want, they aren't picky, they even eat other snakes if they are hungry enough.
