Age of Empires

who played age of empires? its a pretty cool rts game that spawns back quite a ways, it requires you acquire rescources and build units, and you purchase upgrades that advance you through the ages, such as the stoneage to the coinage, to the medieval to imperial age. its pretty cool game.

i believe they have liek 6 games, age of empires 1-3 and each one has an expansion.

i was thinking about popping in 2 again if i could get it to work, does anyone still play? i played AoE3 on my friends computer, and it was neat, but i didnt really like the graphics and it had a wierd feel, but i did like the cannon and physics effects. those were pretty entertaining

I still play AoE 2 for nostalgia purposes... nothing like 40 elite archers single-handedly destroying a base.

AOE rocks, but i gave up on it after they brought out Age of Mythology.

Yet, its good play once every few months or so, (playing for one whole month outta 4 months i mean )
