Here is a suggestion I have about the after-image effect. Since this will be spammed by default, I suggest that people be able to choose if they want to leave an after-image or not (like it could be in the "weapon" selection or they only make it when teleporting with turbo or something. Also they need to make cvars to enable/disable the seeing of after-images or control how many they want to see at a time (Like the dusttrails) although I'm pretty sure they'll do that anyways.

i have to disagree partialy. selecting whether or not (in the weapon select menu?!) whether u make an after-image is not such a great idea. if they did that then no1 would take the time to do it and it would be much time and energy wasted. keep in mind, the after-images rnt permanent, they would quickly fade. the most logical way to keep this from going over-board on servers is to simply add a cvar, just like dusttrails. that way, u dont have to see the fading images if u dont want to. and u can if u do. simple as that

We really haven't seen it in action yet, so we dont know how quick they fade or not.. but you can tell which image is the real goku, the after images are a lot brighter, i think it looks great. I'm sure that the images fade quick enough not to cuase too much confusion.

its probably about 1 second fade time, but its not like the images would just disapear. they would continuously fade. so even if it was a 2 second fade time it wouldnt be as noticable as u might think probably. im sure the coders = know wut they r doing.

The after images are too bright, and it looks bad. Just my opinion. They should be dimmer or just as dim as the actual model.

I find it a really nice idea personally, and the esf team proberly arldy thought about that we have just discussed about, the image will prob fade away fast, so no tons o goku's or vegeta around the serv.

Alsow adds abit more dbz-series stuff to the game so keep up the work

I like it if the after images would only be around for a second..
In the series they don't have to look at goku's after image for 3 seconds when he instant translocates. :S
And i don't want to seem like the one who always has something to b*tch about, but i think it would be much cooler if they'd make the afterimage and the way it is created more like in the series.
Can't remember goku leaving a bright ghostlike image of himself..o_O

Looks cool though, but not quite the real thing feel me?

the after-images are bright....but yet again, they only remain for 3 sec max,so you cant see that many after-images unless you are playing against Devil....but its bad to start a discussion about him here,so lets keep it quiet about Devil....

Anyways,as I already said, its too bright, but that's most likely a counter-measure to those who will abuse the teleport button even more. But if they made it a bit darker then yeah no prob....anyway I got no prob with it....

I'm sure the screenshots taken are of development only. THe after images, I would imagine would stay about as long as the particles do now in the 1.1 version. Any longer would be overkill and annoying, the ESF team will know this. I'm sure they wont ruin their mod by putting annoying things like this in.

What they could do though, is make the image stay fractionally longer if you have turbo on. You are moving faster, so your after image would be there slightly longer.

i haven't read all of the posts, but my suggestion is that it should be a clientside option, if you want to have an after-image or those grey particles! so everyone can tune it for his computer and to his delight!
