SSBB has been confirmed to be using the Gamecube controller instead of the Wii controller or this new, super awesome Power Glove Wii!

Did they? i thought that they had said the gamecube controllers would be compatible but you can still use the wii wand

They said the game wouldn't take advantage of any of the new controllers capabilities because the creator believed the game worked better without them.
