hello how r u?, but first if there is a thread already out as the same
question i am soory i looked every were for something that could help
honest :) .
so tjis is the problem i use direct 3d software mode i have the software
4 it and it is supported i run my computer at 800*640 and my game by the same, when ever i come out of a game i get 2 esf screens, 1 i was playing it is in the internet games menu and the other in the main esf menu, the 1 i was using takes up the top lest hand coner about a quater but it is like i can only see that part of a full window, and the other in the background i can't click on it but it is on the main esf menu, but there is on;y 1 half life open HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm from what I'm understanding, I think you're having the same problem that happens to me when I try to play ESF on my laptop.

What used to happen to me is once I exit from a game back to the multiplayer menu (that is, after the console/graphics for the game have already been initialized), the screen used to be split into 2 parts, the background which still showed parts of the console and the multiplayer games menu which was 1/4th of the screen, and that was the area where I could actually click.

This problem was solved when I switched to OpenGL on my laptop, somehow Direct3D was causing that instance to occur.

What I suggest for you is try different video modes with different stable resolutions. And try toggling vsync if your gfx card supports this.

i tried that it did'nt work either it says that it is not supported, help ne1 :cry:

If opengl is not supported, try updating the drivers for your video card. From what you've said, it sounds like u have a piece - o - crap card.
