I was thinking that another server variable could be fun/useful. This varible would be something like mp_PLBoost. This PL Boost would ONLY happen at the start of a map. So if you join in the middle of a map (say 15 min into the map), the PL Boost will not affect you, but the usual PL Balance would.

Think of it as the starting PL bar that you can set for a server in Quake 3's Bid For Power.

This would be dumb in my opinion.

1) Everyone who joined will still have the same PL:pL ratio so there's no true advantage aside from the ability to transform in the beginning of the game, which brings me to my next reason

2) Everyone would use it, no one would know and appreciate the ability to transform after fighting hard for the power.

He was suggesting something, I disagreed and gave my opinion. I didn't bash or flame him in any way and I am quite calm right now, so don't make things seem what they aren't.
