All I was saying was thanks for backing me up. I guess I shouldn't do that?

And to reiterate, there are no such things as lsm'ing or how'ing in 1.2 because Ki's no longer a factor in head-ons, nor are head-ons handled the same way as 1.1.
ki's no longer a factor in head-ons? how will they work then?

Read the manual. All 3 possibilities are detailed there.

on of the possiblilities isnt very clear. it says if someone uses 1.1 melee and someone uses advanced. then the 1.1 will go first then the other person will have their chance. well um if 1.1 melee knocks them back how will they get a chance. if the do the same thing he'll just keep knocking them back.

then maybe the other person will attack after he gets punched in the face  duh

but really its not like u can even do a script for melee i mean what u gonna do script to imput a random string of directions that might work once every hour or so

And the moral of this story kids is this:

"Scripts will leave you assed out on the highway in 1.2."

The end.

Oh, and to all of those script users out there: :(

It's easy to spam a random string of light and medium punches, no doubt. Just hit a bunch of keys and lay down 10+ arrows on the other guy. Thing is, it isn't all that difficult to block arrows flashing up on the screen, especially if they are occuring in a steady rythm. I mean, you could theoretically use a script to execute a combo, but you'd have to be pretty damn good at scripting and hope your opponent didn't just figure you out. The combos aren't difficult enough to warrent scripting, regular attacks are easy enough to put in by hand. If you could script combos would be the only advantage and you'd just end up teaching them to your opponent rather than pulling them off most of the time. Besides that, if you executed a combo script when you didn't have enough time to pull it off you would be screwing up on blocking the attacks your opponent ended up returning with.

hehee..
scripting.. honestly.. I dont know how helpful those would be..
swoop ki cost is more.. adv melee.. hehe.. the opposing player can just block them and make up his own combo and screw the scripted person over..
what else is there.. simple melee.. hmm.. why not just block the guy then pre-punch and throw him into something? lol
what else could you use scripts for in this... multiswooping.. like I said above.. your swoop ki cost is more than 1.1 so Im not sure how helpful this will be.. if they're swooping at you.. just swoop back or right into them! :)

what is a script eny way?
It is where 1 button functions as many buttons, for example:

I hit the "l" button and I start swooping. This is a script because when I hit "l", it is equal to me hitting "w" twice. It's basically cutting corners for pressing buttons.
