What program do i use to edit and make sprites?

I have that MSZ file and I just ddont know what program I need to read it with I am guessing that its somesort of a model coding system but I just dont know what! please help me out with that one 10x from ahead

i would like to get the modle testing program to look at the esf modles i download and i would also like to get alot of maps in this thread to downloads...

well i am learning visual basic, cause i wanna learn how to make my own programs and make cool AIM progz and that good stuff so since im still a total noob i made a thing that will tell you your IP. some people will get their network IP and others their real one...so yea but i thought this...

What do you all use? i have little experience in such 3d programs as 3d studios max. Ii am comfortable with the work space. What program is best for modelling characters for esf. Please provide a link to a forum post or tell me the name thank you -triggs
