So I'm going to be getting Ninja Gaiden 1. I'm wondering what the difference is between black and the regular ninja gaiden. does it actually matter which version i get?

I read in a walkthrough at www.gamespot.com that once you get to chapter 13 the second time around, you just visit Murasama's Shop and you get the Dark Dragon Blade, has this worked for anyone and if their is another way, could you please tell me, thanks.
