crashing

i finally got ESF working. but now every time i get in i can play for a little bit then it crashes and i am at my desktop. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem.

When I play, and for example, my friend tried Melee on me to kill me, then it crashes. When he charges into SSJ, my comp crashes too. This is so weird. PS. I am running in software mode, I am a noob so sorry if it is a dumb question.

Its really odd, if i play the game in opengl it crashes, if i play it in direct3d it works, but my computer has framerate problems in direct3d. If i play long enough in direct3d for like a minute and then change to opengl it works, anyone else got this?
