bots

hmm .. i had a problem with the bots that they never join anyteam o choose a character, they join the game alright! but they are spectators the whole time!! then i figured it out! i removed the motd (message of the day) and the bots now join teams and choose characters!! lol!! they don't know...

after begin an lan game alone, i add 4 bots thats cool, i have 30 fps. After mmm 15 minutes, i drop to 7 fps for the rest of the game :cry: can u tell me why? note : all detail of esf is setting to low so thats not the answer... :s

I got some problems when i play on a lan with bots. I made a listenserver and play with bots. it goes long time good. but then it gives a error, and says hl.exe made a fatal error. Im thinking it has something to do with the bots, because i can play as long is I want against my brother on...

please tell me cheats if there are some

if you had trouble understanding the brief readme provided with the bots, go to this thread (or if your bots dont work, you could check this to make sure you did everything right.) It IS very indepth, but read the note at the bottom of the page...

Im having a small prob i cant get the "liblist.gam" changed so that i can run esf-bots it keep crashing

When i try to open the file in wordpad all these symbols come up instead of words. I have 2 comps and they r networked, it only seems to work on my old one... If you have a program that will work plz tell me PS 4 ppl i know have this problem

I downloaded and everything and i put the Esf-bot.dll in the ESF dlls folder, in the instructions say to change the liblist.gam thing but i can't when i click to change it, it opens up winace and i go to it and it doesn't have anything in it, no notepad, plzzz help me, i haven't even got to do...

ok for the beging.. first i down loaded the zip file from the front page. then i un zipped it in my hl folder. then i read the readme and put the ESF-Bot.dll in the ESForces dll folder. then i went to the liblist.gam located in the ESForces folder and edited it to:gamedll...

Hey hey ...well i tryed the new bot sys and it is realy nice .....But ( i know the bots are still beta ) but the skill lvl range (1 eazy 10 hardest) = 2 ...you guy put in AWSOME effort i cant wait for the next bot upgrade ! :)

I need help with the Bot. I installed just like the Readme said, I can add a bot I can see there name, but don't actually see the bot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Help!! someone please my console won't register the "addbot" command Iv'e followed the guide in the zip file and still nothing, I've looked at other Q&A's and followed the advice re: liblist.gam but to no avail.

The new ESF bots are o.k. But I find them attacking each other, even when they are on the same team. And some other minor problems. I didn't see anyone else post about them so I thought I would. :fight:

ok firstly sticky this secondly i thought everyone should discuse the bots in here since i need info on it as well and i was surprised there was no bots as a sticky anywho (my little jokes are in brakets) i noticed the bots move while transforming (nifty) they like to stay on the ground...

I got the bots today, set everything up & messed with them for a min or so (I had to leave, so I didn't have much of a chance to actually fight one). I noticed a bug (At least I think it is), if you type addbot x (Doesn't have to be x, it can be anything cept for evil, good, or any esf models)...
