Anyone know of any tutorials on how to create Steam backgrounds for games?

i made these ones a while ago , iv'e been meaning to bother to show them off , their dbz backgrounds critz and comments are welcome , i created most of these with screen shots from dvd's & photoimpact touches with a little bit of photoshop aswell now don't claim these as...

Can someone show me how to make good backgrounds? As you can see I can cutout pictures like theres no tommorrow but I can't make backgrounds worth pants *could I borrow someone's pants?* Here's what i mean.

how do i get sig backgrounds? wat do i use?

Im trying to make backgrounds and logo's with adobe photoshop but ive never workt with 7.0 so i don't now **** about 7.0 could someone help me add me to youre msn [email protected]
