thanks Grega I just took off the big pack 8.4 and it works now, only thing is it shows that the server is up and running but it doesnt appear on the list. I knw the problem isnt my ports b/c i host games all the time. And its set on internet.

well i tried to launch a dedicated srvr and i got a fatal error: "Cache_TryAlloc: 1793008 is greater then free hunk" any ideas?

No one can see my server on the list. I think it has to do with my ports. I'm using steam and version 1.2.3 with RC1 add-on. I went to my router's web page and I need to know what to put for: 1-Pinhole (Port) Name 2-Protocol (TCP or UDP) 3-External Port Start 4-External Port End...
