Welcome to the forums. People have been using the powerup command for eons, and there has never been any problems with it. Are you running the latest version of ESF with an updated version of Half-Life? Did you install any third-party addon mod over ESF? Is your powerup aura file still in...

I have no idea about the origin of this problem, I'll try and look it up. Meanwhile, we have KilledWithStyle's theory above to backup this situation - which, if true, means that this problem isn't distinctive to ESF only.

I'm not too sure if that was fixed for 1.1 (I think it was), I'll double check. But the candy-attack is near perfect for 1.2, all the bugs and exploits have been vanquished by harS. So there's nothing to worry about, the next release will be free of these problems. :)

Thanks for the compilation of the info O_o - but all of that is already in the stickies here and there. :o And most (if not all) of those bugs have been fixed for the next releease, and the remnant shall be removed eventually as well

Please explain how exactly you installed ESF (Over HL/won/steam/CS), it will enable people to help you better in this case. As for the screen shrinking, that's a common problem with some graphic cards and video modes - it's only temporary and occurs when you start/initialize a game though. Check...

Mastasurf usually updates the galleries after releases. I believe that there is no point in putting up incomplete development images onto the gallery - that's what the dev. journals and news are for. If you want an answer from the team about this, email mastasurf [at] esforces [dot] com.

Welcome to the forums. There is no estimated date of release for beta 1.2, so just hang in there - development is in steady progress and the team will release when they choose to.
