The option to save an archive of the stream was turned off. The live stream was only meant for people who participated in the QA session. If we wanted the whole world to see a gameplay video would have been released in the news.

ESF Beta 1.3 = Beta version of ESF
ESF: Final = Version 1.0 non-beta release.
The team felt that calling the next release version 1.0 might have been confusing, hence the codename ESF: Final.
I have actually had a discussion with Valve in person regarding the release of Half-life 1 mods over steam. They have several valid reasons for not doing this and it's not just exclusive to ESF.
It's possible. You would have to be mindful of poly limits though.
Karrde volunteered to work on some documentation for the mapping system. Once that's more complete we'll be able to release a guide to the community. I'm very interested to see what you guys can come up since maps aren't limited...

Not only does he save the world time and time again from "bottom feeding scum sucking algae eaters", but also freely hands money to strippers. Aliens, demons, that's easy. Conquering strippers, now that's hard.
At this point it's not likely that the melee system is going to change a whole lot. Almost all of the system's mechanics have been planned and implemented. There are still some small tweaks and loose ends that need to be handled, but other than that there isn't really any room for suggestion.
