help pleazzz esf problem

sorry i'm new to esf
my pc: 700 mghz
10 gigabytes
amd duron
64mb
windows xp proffessional
my problem is that i create new game but still i can't get in the game i downloaded directx 8.1 and i can't choose that in the confiquration
please help what should i do i can start game but i can't get in the game like a character or something. when you have the image esf and fps40 and so on and in:blablabla out:blabla then i get a image of the characters i can pick but then the game goes to my bureatheme and the game is shutoff???????????

Hmm did you try to reinstal ESF it worked for my or don't select "instal MP3" it worked for my friend

de mp3 is not a problem i think and reinstall i already did

do you have your latest video cards driver?

if the no then get them as it wont work without

Now. What video card do you have? ESF seems to have problems with Sofware and DirectX modes. If you don't have a video, I suggest you buy one. :smile:

no offence, but your pc isnt exactly the tippity top of the crop so i'd suggest when you get it working, you try using some of the codes on this post.

i've redownloaded esf and i've got the good halflife and i can lay the game but i can only fly around and i can search for dragonballs what's the only way i can transform you now could you help me ou and yess i use directx 9.0

Well,
a.) Make sure your playing in OpenGL
b.) Make sure the screen resolution isn't below 800x600

If you mean the charge bar, then you have to press primary attack to charge a beam when selected, and to use melee, you have to use the primary attack button to target people.

(the numbers are default for selecting different attacks)

i can't play the joingame's only but i can play create a game and it works now
mr mystix i don't understand what you mean with double or triple posting but i've got no further questions so there will be no more problems from now on except for the serverproblem but i have to update now i understand so i'm just enjoying the game till beta 1.2 comes out so sorry for the problems

If your having problems finding servers, try setting the filter properly or if you need it, download the latest halflife patch (1.1.1.0)

i have the latest patch pf halflife and the game works perfect
