For this advance melee is it possible that when your swooping to hold down right click so that you can kick or punch like in 1.1, be good for all us n00bs out there. lol

I dont think that it will work much more, maybe due to the fact you now charge the swoop, charge attacks and perform combos. Wait til its out, then you'll see :]

SSC remembers reading somewhere that when you swoop an opponent, your character starts automatically punching the opponent until you decide what to do.

i read somewhere that you can put a code in the console to use 1.1 melee

Rikku pretty much just hit it on the dot. There will be a command for beta 1.1 melee, but it's server side, so you'll have to jon servers.

other than that, there will be no mixing of the two
