blocking in melee?

Just a quick question. Does blocking (holding down Q) help at all with damage when someone is prepunching you and/or during the adv. melee? Or is blocking only for Ki attacks?

If you block during melee, they can't throw you, and damage is reduced If I remember right.

yea it still does some mele damage but its a great way to get them to burn energy so u can do a mega throw on them later
