esf dead?

why is the site down? when is it going back up? is esf dead? (or at least the development of 1.3?)

ESF isn't dead, their host was down for a while. Now that its back, its only a matter of time before the sites back to normal soon.

the site will be back in march, it said so before it fully went down.

There is alot of chaos at Oktagone at the moment, but I attended the ESF Dev team meeting today and there is not only plenty of life, but plenty of activity. 1.3 is being worked on dilligently. As usual, please be patient, ESF will continue on untill it is finished.

Besides, ESF has a strong fanbase, it will be a while before ESF truly dies. =]

Well , lets hope it wont die in atleast 4 years

The reason why the site was "down" for so long was, the contents of the database that drives the ESF website were lost, and the task of manually re-creating all of the database tables and associated structure was very complex.

Having said that, it is now back up online for your viewing pleasure.
