Wth? I just got this error today when I turned on my comp to play ESF. I know it's from custom models etc but why's it do that, even if I did reinstall ESF? Is this a bug?? Cuz I never get it in any other mods..please help. thanks.

Your hl.exe has a virus in it... atleast thats the most common error.

hehe thats good for you, I reinstalled and its all fine now..
but whatever next time Ill stay away from custom stuff.

.... it happens when you run cheating death in the background. I bet reinstalling it was just a coincidental fix because cheating death was off.

That's happened to me too...after I re-installed it, it disappeared...but the game still closes on me everytime I try to play. EVERY TIME...what's wrong?

running in software mode ??? change to OpenGL (or D3D)

Just make sure Cheating Death is closed down properly. If you are not sure do (Ctrl, Alt, Delete).
Always works for me.

Cheating death causes alot of problems if your not playing CS
