I don't think he's referring to spamming in the sense of posting very rapidly. I think he's referring to a now dead (and it'll stay that way ) practice of posting insubstantial remarks (for example: "Cool... tenchars") in a number of threads solely to increase your post count. It's a rational concern, imo, since this experience system places a lot of emphasis on post count (ie: quantity over quality).

I don't think it adds anything important. And on other boards (especially if it's coupled with user titles)
people tend to spam more just for the sake of getting a higher rank.

Hes right though. People do the stupidest things to show off their e-wang and prove to others they have less live than the rest of the comunity.

I just don't see why have to spam. These features are merely to have some interesting on the forums, as it has been the same for many many years. Instead of spamming, you could just as post as normal. Leveling up takes a while, and I highly doubt you wish to ultra-triple-uber-duber spam like 1 zillion messages each day to gain thousands of levels. Heck, even I am only level 19.

But I do somewhat agree with Grega and disagree with him at the same time. Although there will be some people who will spam/abuse/what-have-you this system. Most people are mature enough to act somewhat normal.
