Why is there no message of the day?

Why is there no message of the day for esf. i need the message of the day file for info on my servers and i cant find it i think esf team didnt make one. Can anyone make me one. thx for your help

JUST CREATE A DANG .txt called MOTD.txt and place it in your ESF folder.

but how will HL know to sue the .txt .....do you even know what iam tlakign about. Its the message that pops up when you join a server and the host cna edit it to whatever he wants but esf doesnt ahve one but everother mod has it.

I know what a MOTD is. If your thinking about the HTML version, think again. The Steam SDK hasn't come out yet, so ESF has no access to the HTML version.

iam not tlaking about steam and i ahve tried befor i think to make one for esf but didnt work and i think the MOTD.txt is supposed to go in the HL folder and not the esf folder because someother mods put their MOTD in HL folder

edit but ill try it in the esf folder but why didnt the esf make a MOTD
