Totally agree! For example, if slaves had learned to enjoy their work, rather than focus on things like "freedom" and "liberty", they'd have been far more efficient, and The Machine would have run smoother. It's really all a state of mind. You're a cog. Just accept it and learn to love being someone else's tool! Yes, they benefit more from your work than you do, but if you love your job, your insane hours and low wages don't even matter because it's almost like you're not working at all.It really depends on what you motives are behind work; what ever it is you do, If your priority is money then prepare for a %!@$ load of corrupt thoughts(like the majority of the world).
OR you can work to be the best you can, ofcourse nobody cares about that anymore.
Also you mention 'hating work', if you truly hate work your effort at the workplace will be very inefficient, this is due to your attitude. I remember listening to a lecture
'The first step of concentration at work and the technique to be used in the 21st century without adoubt is your attitude in approaching work. We know very well psychologists have said when a human being wants to complete a task, 70% of completion depends on attitude and 30% on intellect. What do we mean? We mean if you think about any task you sought to perform in your life, Its not so much about your intellect its about your attitude before the task.
If you notice when you were at college, there were certain students at college who you would find were geniuses but there attitude was so arrogant that sometimes those less smart than them got higher grades than them. Why? The Genius approaches the class with what? 70% attitude 30% intellect, you find he was more 70% intellect 30% attitude. His attitude was all over the place, when he comes to class hes not intrested in learning, he is intrested in finishing the class and coming to the exams at the end of the year. We find however that the person whoes not a genius but his ATTITUDE is correct is managing to achieve the highest grades.
The same applies to work without a doubt, why? Because with work the first step to concentrating at work is reflecting on your attitude before you approach work.'
