My vote goes to Michael Keaton, perfect balance of humor and composure.

Val Kilmer was too serious,
George Clooney tried to be too funny,
and Adam West was before my time & had a crappy suit.

Christian Bale... a perfect mix of serious and educated acting.

Adam West. watched the series every week when i was a kid
when the vote would just about the movies i would pick Keaton... but the series just pwnz the movies with some *BANG* *SLAM* *KNOCK* ... [insert nifty music with batman logo zooming in and out then scene change] XD

Well im highly anticipating Batman Begins but i've hated bale since EQUALIBRIUM, but i think he can make begins work. I voted for keaton. But kevin Conroy comes 1st.

I enjoyed Val Kilmer just because he did take it too seriously. Can't remember much about Keaton, been too long since I saw his stuff. But c'mon, Adam West was the man The original series was comic genius. It didn't try to take itself seriously at all and was the perfect mix of comic book action, detective work, and 1960's pop art film.
