There used to be a lot of good projects back in the day. Everyone was so hyped and inspired by everyone. Why do you think things are changing?

I guess people play more games instead of creating mods/games. So mod culture also declined too. One cause of it would also be less moddable games and people lost interest in modding 🤔

Agreed! But don't you think modding is more fun and creative than just building a game from scratch?

Maybe, in the last past years with all the free engines you can easily create something with less knowledge and don't need to know much coding to mod something more in depth, other than some model edits or change some textures.
