not the steam site, use the actual client.

so load up steam, goto Half Life and right click it, and click purchase.

You CAN buy it from retail shops.

But Steam is quicker and easier.

You can by the GOTY edition in most stores for around $10-$20 or you can buy the half-life anthology pack or buy it online through steam for $9.95. I myself bought the GOTY edition from eb for $14.95, and to my suprise when I registered the key steam recognized it as the platinum pack (more expensive retail version that coems with cs, blue shift etc).

I bought HL from Walmart for $40. But before you start ranting about how much I bought it for... I got 5 games for $40. (HL - GOTY, CS, Team Fortress, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force)

Thats $8 a game!
