that depends on your your and his powerlevel
you´ll get more if his powerlevel is higher than yours

All of the above!
the amount of Pl you gain is in ratio on how much damage you do to him.

melee gets you less pl because, well, it is so easy to do.
Attacks like kiblast and blueblue beam get you more, but character specific attacks get you the most.

If you are a Pl fiend and you suck at melee, your best bet is to get Goku or Buu and kamahama/mouthblast from a far distance.

but personally i like melee more: if you know how to do it right you can gain 400k in like 5 mins w/o energy attacks

hey cOol that is awsome. cus i never under stand it so when i use buu i just melee someone and change them into a donut and eat it LOL!!! usually im able to transfomr and play about 5-10 min of evil buu in the esforces.com servers =D oh and i joined a clan so my name is Saiyan | UBuu if you see me and i eat you. im just trying to transform lol:talk:

I think it doesn't matter if you kill him, or if you die, if his powerlevel is higher both ways you will increase.

yes hitting people gives u pl but killing them gives u more

Yes and I noticed that when you power struggle you get alot of pl if you win.
I love power struggle it is so much fun.
