What are your internet speeds?

That's mine! It's actually really shitty, but the sigs load up just fine!

Secondly, who among you thinks the SIGNATURE FILE SIZE LIMITS (AND NOT ACTUAL SIZE LIMITS CAUSE NO ONE WANTS A RETURN TO MY 3 PAGE SIG) should be increased as a result of 56k being a dead technology, and most people having far superior internet capabilities and speeds compared to when the signature limit rule was instated?

My isp membership is not an expensive one, hence the speeds.

So yeah, the sigs load fine. No problem here.
(sometimes they slow down while i scroll or something but that's because of the browser/laptop).

I'm not talking about how much space it takes on the screen. I'm fine with that. I'm talking about how how large the file is in terms of kb/mb. 600 kb is stupid and I require far more than that to display the awesomeness that are my 6 Superman sigs.

It's true that when sharing with others you can feel the difference.

Oh and one test from the same city(since the last 2 were far away).


So i don't think there's a problem with bigger sigs in terms of file size(and not resolution).

Can't complain, this is with 2 PCs streaming at 360p of YouTube, so...
I actually have an 80MB download, and 3MB upload, but as I said, teh YuTubs
And as for the signature thing, I would prefer the signature limit to stay the same. If you estimate, I don't know, 200kB per siggy, that takes, what, on a slow, old connection of... 10MB dl? That will take about 1.8 seconds or so to load all the siggys on one page! Okay, you know what, I understand that isn't long, actually.

How about a much larger filesize limit, but a (reasonable) signature length limit, so that the entire page is not just taken up by signatures. Maybe about 400 pixels?

I'm counting Horatio as a yes as he didn't read the posts and stated hes for a file size increase, but not a size increase. Updated the first post with clarification.

Filesize increase is fine by me, But there will be people above me that say no because of server bandwidth or some such reason

But I would so no to taller sigs

Ah well, it was an idea, no one liked it.

Besides, I never meant a 3 page siggy or something like that. I'm completely fine with my ideas being shot down in flames, y'know. I was just throwing some ideas out there that might benefit the community in some way or another.

I apologize for the absolutely awful wording in my last post here, I meant to increase the file size limit, but also impose a limit in just the sheer number of pixels the siggy takes up. I also apologize if there already is a length limit on signatures, and I'm just being Uberderpy.

Can't you just have sigs not show up and make it faster? If you have slow internet you should be doing that.
