Depends on where the rest of the community is, hopefully by the release, steam will be ready to overtake WON, but i doubt it. If it were up to me, I'd be playing on steam.

I'd stick with WON since it's a lot faster (no "Updating Steam platform" and "preparing to play Half-Life" bull) and more reliable atm.

if it works with steam it woks with won, at least thats been the case with every other mod ive downloaded,

graphically it will look better with steam, if youve got even a decent computer use it in steam youll see the difference trust me, i run mine at 1024x768 with 32 bit color and it looks alot better than it did with won,
