I was completely and utterly spoiled this christmas on account of three things: Mom's promotion from last year, our move into a house that costs us $800 less per month, and this being my last christmas at home before I move out. I got a new Dell (although I usually disdain proprietary hardware, this one is at least tweaked for gaming) with a Pentium 4 3.0 ghz (800 mhz front side bus), a Radeon 9800 XT, a gig of DDR400 (tweaked for insane performance by Dell for gaming), a 120 gig hard drive, and an 8x DVD-R. On top of that I got Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Max Payne 2, The Temple of Elemental Evil, a few DVDs, a nice little nightstand table which opens up to become either a backgammon table, chess table, or checkers table if I so choose to play a game, a couple of nice shirts, and my favorite and most thoughtful gift, a gold necklance (thin, not gaudy) with a thin circle of gold about an inch in diameter hanging from the bottom with a picture of my girlfriend etched into it.
Yes, I was spoiled ridiculously. Rest assured, that will *never* happen again!
