Ok sprites, textures or whatever, the thing is: when I play a map with water in it or with mist (cf. namekmyst). I get the flickering triangle stuff on my screen.
I thought for a moment that it was fixed, but then there just was no water.
Also esf_guru has that problem so...
Am I missing a file here? or has something to do with video configurations or ...
Can someone help me out here? Maybe you Coldsteel, cuz you made namekmyst right?
Should I post a pic?

Show a picture. The triangle flickering thing happens because of the HL engine, but the water shouldn't disappear o_O.

No no the water is back now I "fixed" that, so now I'm back to triangles...
If I'm understanding you correctly, those water triangles don't disappear, unfortunately.

I don't think you are understanding me correctly, there is no way of fixing them.

Is it like the triangles in this picture?

It sounds like when you make a water brush with a very little distance to a wall or anything, and it start flickering on distance...

Bandwidth exceeded? Hosting pictures as .bmps can do that rather quickly.
I'll throw in my two cents once I can see the pictures.

Instead of double posting The_Real_Legend use the <img src=http://forum.esforces.com/images/buttons/edit.gif> button. And DragonDude is right, convert your pictures to .jpeg's instead of .bmp's because they can take longer to load for lower internet speeds. You can do this by opening the picture in paint and then saving it as a new picture with a .jpeg extension.

Thanx those few words was all I needed to hear.
I had to dl some update files to get opengl working again. So there isn't any use for this thread anymore.
