Warframe goes live!

How do you unlock additional warframes? I'm about to finish the first planet, and its a little dull, but I'll keep playing for a bit. All of the additional weapons seem like they require currency to buy, so can I unlock them through gameplay or is it purchase only?

Yeah, you purchase the blueprints for them, stored at the later pages of the shop. You then go to planets, collect the resources that the enemies drop, or from the lockers/chests you find, and then come back, and you can build the desired item.

Yeah you can expect the n00bs to behave like n00bs. but definately take a look at the wiki if you're curious about anything. what gun to get next, where to find the resources, all that kind of stuff. a lot of it is not listed in the actual game like base crit chance or charged swing speed.

I stopped playing because I couldn't even get my Greatsword due to the leveling being so damn slow. I mostly soloed because other players just speedrun through the entire thing, so I have to either search for caches and miss out on the action, or run&gun everything and miss out on the resources.

like I said, playing with people you know, also using a VOIP program like TS3 or ventrilo helps big time.

Looks incredibly repetitive.

Not as repetitive as most people's ESF skills OOH!!!

It's a pretty fun game actually, and randomly generated levels help offer a change of pace. You can customize your Tenno(character) with mods to upgrade stats, and get new abilities, there are plenty of weapons to find and craft(**** crafting), and the inclusion of multiplayer co-op, and a new dueling feature make it one of the best F2P games out there right now. It's also being released on the PS4 as a launch title.
