I haven't played ESF in several months, back in 1.1. Anyway, now I try to play, get melee'd a lot, and I don't even get to enjoy getting beaten up. When someone hits me, most of my screen goes black, I sometimes see symbols appear on the left side of the screen, and a few random textures of the land are visible (besides my current status; i.e. health, ki, etc.) everything else is black. Is there a way I can fix this? Thx in advance.

tried using a different graphics mode? Try using opengl or direct3d if you havn't already.

i had the sam prob on my 9800pro, then i installed the D.N.A drivers. it works perfectly now 
I hate to sound like a complete newb, but.. I'm not sure how to change what graphics mode I open it in. And as far as drivers go... I dont' have a 9800pro so D.N.A. would be useless and I think I have all my latest drivers anyway (maybe I should look into that tho..) :S
Edit: Nvm, I figured out how to change video modes. I'm going to test it if fixes my error now. Thanks!
