ok it said loading on esf when i clicked on creat game but then this came up

what does that mean?
do i need to download a update for my video CARD
if so?

simple, your video card can not handle Open_GL try updating your video card drivers (contact the creator of your video card for updated drivers)

so you mean im going to have to contact " TIME" computers ,and send my computer of so that they can update the drivers??

if not , could someone tell me where i can upgrade my drivers.
and also which SPECFIC driver needs upgraading.

If your card does not surport opengl, it must be years old, I doubt a update will help you, Goten-son he does not need to contact anyone, just simpley go to the cards website and download drivers from there, its pretty simple, if you know what card you have that is..

Before doing that, just try D3d

i jush changed the opengl driver TO DEFAULT in the video mode place.

then i went to quick game and this came up

how can that be sorted ?

Ok, here's the deal, i've had this problem before. You need to update your card, and no you don't need to contact your creator, just find their website and they should have a driver's section. If you update them and it still doesn't work, then try using D3D. to find out what card you have if you don't already know do this:

#1. Click on the Start Button
#2. Click on "RUN"
#3. type in "DXDIAG"
#4. Go to the "Video" or "Display" tab
All your info should be there.

#EDIT# D3D is another mode like openGL, should be next to it

Your video card problem was because you set HL to think you had a voodoo card.

Your connection problem is from ether the server dying while you tried to connect, or you having a crappy modem.

go to www.nvidia.com they have a drivers section, get your drivers there. make sure to get the right ones, XP and 98 systems have different patches.

-graphics driver?

-multimedia software?
-workstation applications?
-games? , utilities and tools ?
-cosumer 3d studio?

installed it , restarted computer.
still no affect.
plus also a stupid error key sign keeps also coming up.

im using a key serial generator and time after time when i try to create a new game it says please input serial key or suttin like that.
and when i do it takes me back to main page.

and sometimes that opengl error stil lcomes up. so instead of default i used the minid3d suttin like that .
and it seems to work but a stupid key error keeps coming up .

plus also when i go to quickgame it loads and then says it failed to conect?

ffs i got a 1mb ntl home cable modem so whats going on?

1. I recommend buying the game since its bugfree
2. And you have a geforce 4 mx 420 i have one like that and didn't ever updated it. And esf runs fine.

i might buy the game tommorow but theres no point if i buy it an still get a opengl error.

so i downloaded that plugin and it hasnt made a difference.

No its not, its in about every computer games shop I have been in...look harder. PC World have it for £13.

Uninstall all your graphic card drivers from add/remove programs then install the nvidia drivers again that you downloaded.
