-==SPECS=-

Pentium4 Processer, Clocked at 2660 MHZ @ 533 MHZ FSB

512 DUAL CHANNEL RAM RUNNING AT 333MHZ (Synced with FSB)

Radeon 9800 non pro, Flash BIOSed TO a 9800 PRO 128MB AGP 8x

Xp Home, All background programs closed, Divert system resources to Applications, Best perfermance.

-=PROBLEM=-

WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS THAT I NEVER FALL UNDER 83 FPS IN BATTLEFIELD 1942 EVEN WITH AF x16 and AA x6!

In ESF, I'd be lucky to reach 100 fps at any time. I Tried lowering the detail of the game, turn of AF and AA and the game falters between 45-67 fps during battle. Even With AF and AA enabled, there is no difference in Performance. I run in OpenGL mode, Direct3d Performes WORSE. What IS GOING ON HERE?! I run in 1074x768 with no mp3 player, no background programs running. There are Also TONS of Jaggies even with AA on Max.

And After about 23 mins of playing, the server crashes. It doesnt matter which server or map, the game crashes 93% of the time I play it. "Connection Problems" in red appears in the top right of my screen.

Any help would be appreciated

Theres nothing bad about 45 to 60 fps, your eyes cant tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps.

Half-Life never was the game in which you could get much FPS ... it's engine it crappy (now ... not for the releasing date) and you still get low fps ... yeah ... that'S kinda annoying the you cen more fps in Quake3 in higher resolutions than in HL ..
but there's no possibility to fix it, because ESF won't change to another engine ...
just lower a few qualities in ESF (I think the easiest way is Mr.Satans script) ... then it should work a lil bit better
